New Art Exhibit at Blackhawk Gallery
The Alamo Danville Artists’ Society Blackhawk Gallery opened a new exhibit ‘Discovery!’ on October 15th, 2021. The exhibit will be on view Tuesday through Sunday. The Exhibit is free and open to the public

The ‘Discovery!’ exhibit features thirty member artists and two guest artists.
The exhibit is curated by Julia O’Reilly, Debby Koonce, and Andrea Schwartz.
The Blackhawk Gallery is located at 3416 Blackhawk Plaza Circle in Danville, California, in the Blackhawk Plaza. Telephone: (925) 648-8023.
Gallery hours are Wednesday through Saturday 11 am to 7 pm, and Sunday 11am-6pm.

Guest Artists
‘Discovery’ is featuring two guest artists: Gilda Rottman and Brooke Gettig.
Gilda Rottman is a photographer that transforms her photography into a digital art. All her artwork starts with photograph and is then manipulated into a digital format that combines photos into layers to create a story, a message or a feeling that takes the viewer to another dimension of experiencing the subject of her photos.
Brooke Gettig is a jeweler that sees the potential and nature of each stone to create a unique piece of art. She utilizes the natural shape and different characteristics of high-quality natural gemstones to make a special one of a kind pieces featuring
sterling and fine silver, copper, and gold.
