Benjamin Xu at Horizons! Exhibit

Benjamin Xu born in 1961 shanghai China. He is 3rd generation disciple of master painter Zhang Daqian. He immigrated to USA during the eighties. Mr Xu dedicating his contemporary art of Chinese ink on paper, oil on canvas. The canvas installations art are his outstanding new of personalized works. They are plain and simple, also have deeply meaning with Eastern philosophy, encompassing the inwardness and reserve of “Zen”. Simultaneously he tried his best to focus on the combination of Eastern and Western concepts, form, material or thinking, so that the two could be blended together naturally and seamlessly. His installation art yields tranquility tension and space, makes viewer permeating to practitioner’s contemplative, aesthetic experience.
