Elena has been classically trained in the best European traditions. Receiving a Master’s Degree in fine arts, oil painting and teaching in 1985.
Being a college professor for years teaching fine art and painting was only the first step of her professional development. While teaching her mission was to help every student to find an individual and unique style. The goal for her students was for them to grow over time and become the best and most expressive versions of themselves through their work.
Her life experiences, her emotions, her soul’s cravings nurture her artistic inspiration. After moving to California in 2003 it opened a new page in her spiritual and artistic development and added wind and fresh air to her works. Her artistic voice found new heights, the colors became bolder and brighter. Yet her roots and her classic artistic skills are still present. She observes the traditions of old schools and new movements, connecting both in her own way.
Her works are in galleries and kept in private collections in the United States and in countries around the world.
