Guest Artist
‘Everlasting’ features guest artist Patty Taylor. Patty describes herself as an experimentalist with creative passion. She creates flamed abstract sculptures of the figurative female figure that adorn themes that honor music, dance, ocean, spirituality, fashion and anthropology. Patty is fascinated with texturing clay, glazing, or fuming in flamed firing processes – Raku, Saggar and Pit Fire. These alternative clay firing processes bring a splendor of mystery and matte finishes that roll into high luster and colors to create a dramatic mood.
