Benjamin Xu. Born in 1961 Shanghai China. I have been learning Chinese art since I was 12 years old. Studied western art in Shanghai College of Art and Crafts, until immigrating to the USA during the eighties.
The 3rd generation disciple of master painter Zhang Daqian. Also, I have won a couple of different awards for first and 2nd place. Had two different times of personal art exhibition in the Bay Area.
I have had many years experience of art teacher. A member of Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Artist Association. A director of USA / Chinese Art Institute of Painting and Calligraphy. A director of Chinese Art and Culture Association. A member of The U.S.A. Chinese Collection Association. The green mood painting founder.
